The Videohub Master Control Pro from Blackmagic Design is a network switching router with 21 programmable buttons for routing sources and destinations over a network. Housed in a 1 RU frame, the Master Videohub is suitable for use in both large broadcast systems or portable racks for routing live productions over Ethernet.

Simple push buttons on the front of the unit are configured to control source and destination as well as a scroll wheel and several configuration buttons. The buttons can be programmed via USB using the included software for Mac OS X and Windows. The unit also features power fail protection to preserve your button configurations when power is lost.

The rear of the unit features an RJ45 Ethernet input with PoE to connect your sources and power the unit, or it can be powered with a separately available C13 power cable. There is also an Ethernet loop output without PoE to communicate with your destinations. Two RS-422 input and output ports for future implementation are also on the back as well as a USB Type-C port for software configuration and firmware upgrades.

The Blackmagic Design Universal Videohub 288 Crosspoint is a hot-pluggable card module designed for use in the Videohub 288 rack frame. It supports up to 288 x 288 SDI and deck control, ethernet and serial router control, genlock and alarm indicators.

The Cosmo C1 SDI/HDMI Wireless Video Transmission System from Hollyland allows you to transmit up to 1080p60 video via HDMI/SDI inputs up to 1000' line-of-sight with a low 40 ms latency to an HDMI or dual SDI outputs. The transmitter offers one HDMI input, one SDI input, and one SDI loop-through output, and the receiver offers two SDI outputs and one HDMI output.

The system operates on the 5 GHz frequency band and is encrypted to prevent video leakage. The system supports smart channel selection, allowing the system to choose the cleanest channel for transmission. It also supports UVC pull streaming. Both units also feature a bright, easy-to-read OLED display. Each unit is designed to be powered via an L-series battery plate, by the included D adapter, or with an optional USB power supply via the USB Type-C port. Contrast

Detail

• Color Boost Control: Raise the saturation in regions of the image with low saturation while leaving properly saturated areas alone. Also known as a vibrance operation, this is useful for adding color without oversaturating the image.
• Shadow Control: Selectively lighten or darken shadow detail without affecting your image's mid-tones.
• Highlight Control: Enable retrieving blown-out highlight detail in high dynamic range media by lowering this parameter. This allows you to achieve a smooth blend between the retrieved highlights and unadjusted mid-tones for a natural-looking image.

Saturation

• Increases or decreases overall image saturation. You can turn your color image into a grayscale image with this control.
• Hue Control: Rotate all hues of the image around 360° of the color wheel. The default setting is 50, which retains the original distribution of hues.
• Luminance Mix Control: Control the balance between the YRGB adjustments and Y-only adjustments made using the Y channel lift, gamma, and gain controls.

The Blackmagic Design HDMI to SDI 6G Mini Converter converts HDMI to SD, HD, 3G, or 6G-SDI in resolutions up to DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) at 24p and UHD 4K (3840 x 2160) up to 30p. • Color Boost Control: Raise the saturation in regions of the image with low saturation while leaving properly saturated areas alone. Also known as a vibrance operation, this is useful for adding color without oversaturating the image.
• Shadow Control: Selectively lighten or darken shadow detail without affecting your image's mid-tones.
• Highlight Control: Enable retrieving blown-out highlight detail in high dynamic range media by lowering this parameter. This allows you to achieve a smooth blend between the retrieved highlights and unadjusted mid-tones for a natural-looking image.

SaturationIncreases or decreases overall image saturation—you can turn your color image into a grayscale image with this control.

Digital Preamplifier Design

• With the four, wide-dynamic-range inputs that eliminate the need for analog preamplifiers, microphone levels are adjusted by a digital preamplifier gain stage that is extremely stable.
• The analog audio levels of different microphone types and brands can vary widely, so this digital gain stage allows compensation for the specific brand of microphone you use. Best of all, the digital preamplifier is processed in the full internal 32-bit float RAW audio bit depth, so you're adjusting with much greater precision than the MADI audio standard can support. This results in an extremely clean and noise-free gain stage. Then, the final levels can be finessed on the ATEM audio mixer as you work.

High-End Analog-to-Digital Conversion

• The ATEM Microphone Converter steps outside conventional audio industry design practice of using an individual audio ADC, as each input implements analog-to-digital conversion using eight high-dynamic-range audio ADCs that function collectively as one ultrahigh-dynamic-range audio ADC. This means each input channel delivers an impressive 131 dBA of dynamic range. Plus you get a remarkably low distortion of only 0.002%.

Extremely Low -129 dBV Noise Floor

• A common problem with mic converters is the higher noise floor where electrical noise is generated in the preamplifiers. The ATEM Microphone Converter eliminates this problem by using a very different design. The input is converted directly using its ultrahigh-dynamic-range conversion, so you pass RAW audio to the switcher, and then let the switcher apply as much gain as required for the correct audio level.
• This means you don't get an injection of noise caused by an analog gain stage, so you get an extremely low, fixed noise floor of -129 dBV, regardless of digital gain applied.

Precisely Matched Analog Inputs

• The ATEM Microphone Converter features extremely precise matching between the four audio-input channels. The multi-ADC-per-input design technique means that each analog audio input has very similar specifications and tolerances, so all input channels are statistically more uniform. This means you get similar performance no matter what input you connect the microphone to—and even between multiple ATEM Microphone Converters.

Connects via MADI for Multichannel Audio

• The ATEM Microphone Converter’s MADI output embeds the four analog inputs as MADI channels 1, 2, 3, and 4. The converter also includes a MADI input, which is used to loop multiple converters when you need more than four channels of audio on a single MADI link.

The Blackmagic Design Studio Converter 2 inputs video signals transmitted over optical fiber and converts the signals to SDI for use with video switchers. When used in conjunction with the Blackmagic Design ATEM Camera Converter, you can send video signals up to 28 miles between camera and switcher using available optical fiber cables. By comparison, sending an HD-SDI signal over traditional copper cable is usually limited to about 300 feet, depending on the quality of the cable.

A typical set up using the Studio Converter 2 is to connect it between the switcher and up to four ATEM Camera Converter units. This setup allows the Converter 2 to receive the signals from the fiber cable, convert the signals to SDI using 10-bit processing, and send the signals to the switcher. The Converter 2 supports SD/HD signals, and when using the available ATEM Camera Converter you can use any camera with an SDI/HDMI output.

The Converter 2 can also be used as 4 independent simultaneous bidirectional SD/HD-SDI to optical converters. The Converter 2 features a built-in mic input, speaker and headphone jack that provides talkback audio for communicating with camera operators. The Converter 2 passes tally signals embedded in the SDI program stream. You can cascade multiple ATEM Studio Converter 2 units together when using more than 4 cameras. The Studio Converter 2 features a 1 RU design with built in rackmount ears for easy integration into existing studio configurations or production cases.

Optical Fiber ConnectorsThe ATEM Studio Converter 2 uses standard single mode optical fiber cable with standard LC connectors to allow you to transmit SD and HD video signals up to 28 miles away. Standard copper wire SDI cables have a limit of several hundred feet before the signal breaks up, converting the SDI signal to optical, and sending it along optical cable greatly increases the distance of your cable runs.Talkback and TallyThe unit features a built-in speaker and mic inputs, as well as a headphone jack for when you need privacy, or if the area is too loud. When connected to the ATEM Camera Converter, you can talk to your camera operators no matter how far away they are, without needing to worry about walkie talkies. Using the talkback feature, the unit uses audio channels 15 and 16 of the SDI stream for talkback communication.
Camera operators can be selected individually if desired, and communication can be controlled by a push button, or locked open. Mute and un-mute buttons on the front of the unit allows you to control who hears what.
The unit passes SDI Tally signal information back to the cameras along with any SDI Program signal from available switchers.Multiple UnitsEach ATEM Studio Converter 2 connects to up to four ATEM Camera Converter units, allowing you to communicate with up to four camera operators at a time. Blackmagic Design RESFA/MONINT Overview

Make your existing HDMI monitor compatible with a Fairlight console by utilizing the Blackmagic Design Fairlight HDMI Monitor Interface, a compact video signal converter that changes the Ethernet data from a Fairlight Console Channel Control to standard HDMI format. It also features an Ethernet/SDI input switch to select the SDI input for lip sync checks.

In addition to the HDMI Type-A output for connection to your HDMI display, this interface incorporates two SDI outputs to allow hookup to a remote SDI monitor.
